Special Guest Speaker Joyce Zuk – Joyce is a progressive thinker with dedication towards equity for marginalized persons. Her organization itself speaks for the way that Joyce thinks and acts. Family Services has a suite of programs that deliver services to various marginalized communities, from impoverished youth, to seniors, to persons with mental and physical disabilities and persons struggling financially. As an executive director and a dynamic figure in the community she makes important alliances with organizations dedicated to assist marginalized communities.
MC Comedian Mel Kania – Mel is a mother of 2 daughters. She was born and raised in Windsor and recently married her partner. She started comedy in 2014, and has performed across Ontario and Michigan. She was a finalist in The Border City Comedy Festival, Winning as the wild card in 2014. Mel is very active in the community, sitting on many committees and is an advocate for woman’s rights.
