-Judge Norman Vachon will be helping newcomers understand the Citizenship
Process-

Appointed Citizenship Judge for Windsor, Ontario in December 2012, Judge
Vachon completed nearly 25 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His
first RCMP posting in 1989 was in Rouyn-Noranda Québec followed by
assignments in Montréal, Roberval and, most recently, in Sudbury where he
was in charge of the Financial Integrity Section, conducting Federal
Government Fraud Investigations in Northern Ontario. In 2008 Judge Vachon
received the RCMP Long Service Award, for 20 years of “Long Service and Good
Conduct”. Judge Vachon also served as a Military Policeman in the Canadian
Armed Forces for seven years working out of CFB Kingston, Ontario and CFB
St-Hubert, Quebec. From 2004 to 2012 Judge Vachon was a part time teacher at
College Boreal in Sudbury. Throughout his career, Judge Vachon has
volunteered in the communities he served, by organizing numerous RCMP
Musical Ride charity events and coaching children’s hockey and baseball
teams.
